4. What is the proper way to load the equipment into a BSC to minimize contamination ?
* Load only items needed for procedure * Do not block rear or front exhaust grills * Disinfect exterior of all containers before commencing * Arrange materials to minimize movement within cabinet * Once cabinet is loaded, lower viewscreen, wait three minutes to purge contamination from work area * Non sterile items should never be upstream of sterile items - Updated: July 31, 1999
