6. When should my biological safety cabinet be checked by an experienced technician?

This depends on the policy of your institution or advice of industrial hygienist, safety officer or other qualified person. It is suggested that testing be carried out at regular intervals, at least annually, as well at after relocation and filter change. - Updated: July 31, 1999
