Aerodynamics
The Baker Company MicroGARD^® is designed to create a precise, horizontal airflow across the work surface. The MicroGARD^® draws room air through the front opening and through a HEPA filter, protecting the worker as well as the laboratory environment from airborne particulates expressed in the work area.

• Contaminated air is HEPA-filtered for environmental protection
• Provides convenient method of changing HEPA filter while minimizing release of trapped chemicals
• An aerodynamic airfoil minimizes turbulence of the front opening and within the molded scratch-resistant acrylic enclosure

Controls
The 115V, AC motorized centrifugal blower is controlled by a variable speed controller.

• The main power switch is illuminated to confirm on/off position
• Built-in flow switch warns of low airflow

Construction
The three-sided one piece, molded clear scratch-resistant acrylic enclosure surrounds your work surface, permitting maximum light penetration.

• Tabletop design, fits compactly on your lab bench
• Wide radius interior corners simplify cleaning of the scratch-resistant acrylic surfaces
• A 16-gauge stainless steel HEPA filter enclosure contains the filter, blower and flow switch; all components are surrounded by clean HEPA-filtered air
